The public bus between the Chengdu and Xiaojin reopened the service of the way of Balangshan Pass from Octover 1st.
It takes about 5.5 hours from Chengdu to Sigunianshan, the fare is 105 RMB.

The public bus between the Chengdu and Xiaojin reopened the service of the way of Balangshan Pass from January 20,
but it changed the route to the way of Jiajinshan Pass from June by the road construction between the Yingxiu and Wolong.
The public bus departs from the Chadianzi Bus Terminal in Chengdu and the former bus terminal in the Xiaojin(today's ticket office)
at around 06:30. It takes about 9 hours. There is need to transfer between the bus and taxi at the Dawei where is near the Xiaojin.
The fare is irregular, "Xiaojin (Sigunianshan) -> Chengdu" is 120 RMB and "Chengdu -> Xiaojin (Sigunianshan)" is 136 RMB.

At the foot of Four Girls Mountains, many guest houses which has well-proportioned facilities (there are several rooms with the lavatory and shower) are in business.
Jiarong Dajiudian Hotel and Xin Siguniang Shanzhuang Hotel which are big hotel are in business, too.
The number of tourist is still a few, and the villager hope that the tourist returns early,

It takes about 6.5 hours (the section at Chengdu and Four Girls Mountains takes 5.5 hours, the section at Four Girls Mountains and Xiaojin takes 1 hour). The fare is irregular, "Xiaojin (Sigunianshan) -> Chengdu" is 80 RMB and "Chengdu -> Xiaojin (Sigunianshan)" is 102 RMB. The section "Yingxiu-Wolong" of the Balangshan route is set a limit to traffic partially by the reason of the construction of a road. The name of the town changed from "Rilong" to "Sigunianshan" at the end of 2013.
Chinese name "Rilong" is transliteration of the rGyalrong-Tibetan language to mean the junction of three rivers.
And "Sigunianshan" is derived from the"sukolagidda (phonetic notation is not strict)",
it means the mountain god which protects this local area. "Sigunianshan" means Four Girls Mountains by English.

The dry season regularly began around the beginning of September in every year, but it was began 2 months later in last year.
It is a long spell of fine weather and colder than an average year.
